Scientology Volunteer Ministers Bringing Real Independence to the People of Botswana

The African Scientology Volunteer Minister Goodwill Tour is currently in south east Botswana, where local residents have trained in the technology contained in the Scientology Handbook, and have set up their own local Scientology Volunteer Minister groups in the city of Gaborone and in the village of Mochudi.
A Scientology Volunteer Minister who has been trained by the Goodwill Tour recently delivered two study workshops in schools in the village of Mochudi. These workshops were very successful, with students that are now eager to learn things they could not grasp before. One of the teachers has now enrolled on the Study Course at the Volunteer Ministers' center.
A young woman came to the tent a few weeks ago. An artist, she was doing poorly in life and did not know why. But by taking ''The Cause of Suppression'' course, based on one of the chapters of the Scientology Handbook, she was able to spot that some of her so-called friends were deliberately undermining her. Before the course she had not realized that they did not have her best interests in mind. Knowing who her real friends are now she is doing much better in life.
Another woman, who wanted help to resolve a conflict she had with her mother, took ''The Cause of Suppression'' course and realized that one of her neighbors was causing the problem by undermining their relationship. Because of The technology in the Scientology Handbook she now knows exactly what to do to sort this out.
In his 1976 essay Religious Influence in Society, Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard wrote, "A Volunteer Minister does not shut his eyes to the pain, evil and injustice of existence. Rather, he is trained to handle these things and help others achieve relief from them and new personal strength as well."
Armed with the effective technology of the Scientology Handbook, Scientology Volunteer Ministers are helping their fellow man every day, all over the world.
